Eureka, CA…. Sept 24, 2022….. The North State Modified Series had a three-part event at Redwood Acres Raceway Saturday night with three different winners earning first place awards.

In the Steve Taylor Memorial Qualifying session it was Ian Elliott of Lakeport who turned the fastest lap of the night (16.309 seconds), and was presented the plaque and $100 from Sage Taylor of Cloverdale. Earlier Elliott was voted the Best Appearing Car and Crew and received that award and $250 from event sponsor Doyce Eaton of Dundee, Oregon.

Stockton, CA…...The North State Modified Series (NSMS) will begin its 3-race 2022 Tribute Series at Stockton 99 Speedway Saturday, September 3 with the third annual “Bob Lehman Classic”, a 60 lap feature event that will commemorate the life and legacy of long-time race enthusiast and NSMS supporter Bob Lehman of Rio Linda.

The months of September and October begin the North State Modified Tribute Tour with the “Bob Lehman Classic” on September 3 at Stockton 99 Speedway, the “Dale Baldwin Challenge” and “Steve Taylor Qualifying Event” at Redwood Acres Raceway in Eureka on September 24, and the “Lloyd Burton Against the Wind Modified Challenge” on October 8 at Shasta Speedway in Anderson.

April 23, 2022….. Stockton, CA. Darrin Sullivan of Kelseyville took over the lead on lap 21 when leader Keith Bloom of Anderson spun after a tap from Scott Winters of Tracy, and drove away to win the North State Modified Series 2022 season opener at Stockton 99 Speedway Saturday night. Sullivan crossed the checkered f lag nearly a half a lap ahead of second place finisher Dustin DeRosier of Cloverdale.
